The room

Come for the tea. Stay awhile.

Pick a tea—or mix two. We’ll brew the pot and bring out the cups and saucers. Add honey from our own hives and something sweet, then settle in and stay awhile.

Our story

It started with a nine-year-old who wanted bees.

A child in a beekeeper veil lifting a frame full of bees.

Abigail wanted to keep bees. So we got bees.

What started as a hobby for a nine-year-old grew into more hives, more honey, and eventually something we never really planned on—a tea and honey shop.

Today, CM BEEZ tends over two dozen hives in our colony, serves loose-leaf tea by the pot or cup, and shares the honey that started this whole adventure.

Our hive has a little history, too.

About 150 years apart. Same steps.

Our home at 275 S. Main has been part of downtown Amherst since the 1800s. When CM BEEZ opened, we couldn’t resist recreating this 1875 photograph on the very same steps.
